OneDayOnly is one of South Africa’s top eCommerce players, and has shown exceptional growth over the past five years.
The company has doubled its revenue year-on-year for five years, and had to move warehouses in Cape Town and Johannesburg to accommodate its expansion.
“We’re offering more products, more big brands, and even greater deals and savings,” OneDayOnly told MyBroadband.
The company has grown from an operation with 40 staff members in 2016, to employing nearly 100 people in 2017.
OneDayOnly said great deals, especially from well-known brands, have helped grow its customer base.
“Big brands have always been, and will continue to be, a huge focus of the business,” said OneDayOnly.
“We will also continue to source exciting and innovative new products from all over the world – items that are new, quirky, and surprising.”
Another interesting development is that OneDayOnly is looking at accepting Bitcoin as a transactional currency.
If implemented, it will make OneDayOnly one of the few online shopping platforms to embrace cryptocurrency as a payment method.
